Hi! I'm a newbie in this site. I wanted to build a budget oriented rig primarily for home use whose primary function is internet browsing, music & video downloads, playing online games among others. I wanted to retire my Northwood unit coz its obsolete already. I'm planning a mini-itx series, a dual core 1.8Ghz Hyper-threaded Intel Atom D525MW. But I also wanted to revive my friend's desktop with a single core hyper-threaded 3.20Ghz Cedar Mill Pentium 4 641 & a Geforce 6600 AGP card. It has a damaged hard drive, missing 2 sticks of RAM & the PSU needs an upgrade. The cost between the two is not so high but I'm not sure what to select. Performance wise, what's the best deal? I can't find any reviews comparing these two technologies. Thanks for any suggestions.
