Hello everyone! There is a Pentium Pro with a top on it spec SL22M (this spec corresponds to the Intel Pentium 120Mhz BOX), but the bottom spec SL23M, and processor features coincide with those given in cpu-world.com. Please help out, fake it or not?

Why is it so confidently? I am confused by the fact that the characteristics of the processor, coincide with those that have this SL23M... meaning relabeling? Maybe just a bug in engraving?

More than likely, it's not a 200MHz part, but probably a remarked 180MHz or lower. Forgers tend to miss the details, sometimes the big ones (like using the correct spec code, or making them match)

a real SL23M would also have copyright '94, '96 for the bottom line of text, as SL23M is a 0619 stepping level, which would carry the later date.. Older steppings from 0611 to 0617 carry the '94 '95 line for the date.

I have a few interesting processors, which are not on this site. For example, the Intel i860 A80860XR-25 SX416 CPGA appeared on this site, at my request, and photos. Further, I have a strange SUN UltraSPARC IIi 380MHz SME1430LGA-380. There is also a Intel i486GX-33 TQFP-176. Now she has a fake Pentium Pro... the Collection I have of course modest, only 640 processors and 6 microcontrollers.

Is this a question or a statement? |
