Hi,

> Been a while so figured I would wake up this thread as I know a few members have acquired some new 1750A processors (yy2013 comes to mind lol)

I found a P1750A-20CMBX processor by chance several months ago.

It is in a shrink 64 pin DIP. I'm also looking for a flatpack version of this chip.

I too have found another of these very rare and cool CPUs.

This is a Bendix (they were/are owned by Allied) BX1750A-1A MIL-STD-1750A 16bit processor made in 1990.

Wow, Bendix was still around in 1990? They made some early power transistors in the 1950s, and I thought they had gone out of business a long time ago !

They were bought (really rescued lol) by Allied in 1983 but still used the Bendix name.
Allied bought Signal in 1985 and in 1993 changed their name to AlliedSignal, and then when they bought Honeywell in 1999 they assumed that name, so 1750s should still be made by Honeywell now.

Might as well revive this thread, since a few new ones of these have shown up

Here is the Fairchild commercial version of the 1750A

1 10MHz F9450 and a 15MHz F9450-15DC (also made was a 20MHz)
These are of course, Bipolar, and used a Beryllium oxide package
