I don't think you will have any worries on the C8086s as they too are hard to find and I ended up buying mine from Ebay and trading with one of you (I think it was George).
The Inventory list will be one of the first things I fix but I kind of understand how it works already. No one person has them all and I will have to call around and ask questions trying to figure all this stuff out. If any of you go to the chip brokers sites, about 70% of what you see available isn't there... I already bought it . Not really... But there is a lot of stuff that was sold years ago that never got updated.
By the way, I already have about 5 or 6 486SX-16s if you have anything to trade I don't recall what I paid for them but I do remember I bought them when I didn't have one and I paid quite a bit more than I will be able to purchase them for now. I think I paid about $30?
If this works out, I will have plenty of EPROMs. I actually already have probably 2,000 but most of them are the pretty common ones that I have already traded to the CPU Shack
Thanks for the interest and wish me luck!

Do you think you'd trade a C4040 for a C4004 with me? |

If you have 5-6 SX16 to spare i dont think you will find anyting interesting in my tradelist. (Thats if you dont have a some strange affection for ceramic P100-166)
http://www.recode.se/cpu/default.asp?id=167;0 is my tradelist anyway...

Well, I have been hording chips for years and since I am retiring I need to start unloading some of them... Anyone wants a 486SX 16 for $35 (this includes shipping) let me know and I will send you one. I only have six left so the first six gets them (no more than two to anyone person).
I do have an extra C8086-4 that I am holding onto for trading but the print althoug not bad isn't great and I paid about $150 for it. I bought my a better text version from George but I think I paid a little more for that one?
Start making your request now and I will see what I have and start making a list. As soon as I buy the site and get it set up I will drop you all the link and you can do some fun searching . I have spent many hours/days/weeks etc doing this... Some of the chips that I know you guys want are the PPRO 133s and the A80486DX ES chips that I have right now. The A80486DX ES I will let go for about $50 but the PPROs I will have to have about $70 as I paid a lot for them... Shipping is included on anything you buy. I paid about three times what I would have paid if I owned the site so my prices will drop, just not on what I currently own.
Those of you who collect chips out of the Collector's Guide can get some good deals right now as that is the bulk of my over 5,000 chip inventory

haha this is great
I'm interested in that C8086-4. Do you have a C8080B for trade/sell? Also I need a C4004 (white) thats in better condition than the one I have now.
Do you trade them or do you just want to sell everything?
Good luck! |

I just sent a photo of the C8086-4 to xi11west. He beat you to the email.. If he doesn't buy it then I will send you a photo and you can buy it.
As far as the C4004s and C4040s go... I only have one extra C4040 left and it is mint! I won't sell it unless someone was to make an offer I couldn't refuse as there won't be any chips like this one coming along anytime soon. I have three extra C4004s and they too are all NOS and I wouldn't sell them cheap as I have quite a bit in them. Of course, I wish I had a hundred of them then I would let you have one cheap!
I do still have a few C8085As, C8085AH, and C8085AH-2s
Sorry, no extra C8080Bs.

Oh well, time is everything.
How much money for the C8085A?
Here's what I want to do with my C4004 white: I'd like to give you the C4004, and pay the difference for a better condition one. is this possible? |
