Fake? Does that mean they don't work?
The processors in the picture are tillamooks, not the CPU's that you have put in your links. |

well if you were repackaging cpus you wouldnt stop at the one.. you would do as many as you could. I suspect there are a ton of them out there. I actually like the packaging when it isnt tarnished, they would look good on display. I have one out of interest only, I wouldnt collect them.
Forged, faked, or counterfeited semiconductors are a real problem, it isnt only cpus. "grey" chips in electronics manufacturing cause headaches. which reminds me.. gman, about being a chip broker (with "modern" devices), with the new lead-free (Pb free) legislation on the horizon in the Europe market, I wouldnt want to be a chip broker. |

Yes, as far as i know all gold pentiums (marked Tillamook) are fake. Not to be mixed up with the core name for P55C (200 233 266 300) which i are Tillamook also. (Probably why they printed Tillamook on the fakes, to enchance the credibility of the speed.)
