Are there versions with black printing and versions with just an outlined text? If so, is one rarer than the other? I hope that this isn't too broad of a question. Thanks.

Yes there are engraved version, and printed version
Depends on the speed which is more rare.
For example 166 and 200 and 233 all are printed so if you found an engraved one, it would be rare

266 came in both, the printed ones are more common
300 came in both, the engraved are the more common

For K6-2, printed is def more rare
