Hi. Found this little baby in a box of bits.

Picture is of both sides.

The small black chip on the black is marked SL2WF

I'm assuming the 2 black chips either side of the processor are cache.

The white strip on the black of the chip where you would usually see the spec is left blank

On top of the processor it is marked L8472910-0190

Can anyone shed some light on what exactly this is?

I have three pieces that look exactly the same, also with the blank field.
I left one in its case that I don't forget what it is.

Pentium II 350 Mhz 512 cache

Celeron's cache is on die so I think this is a PII/PIII. The speed of cache would help reveal what the processor is.

It is a PII
Try to test it even with something is missing, maybe it will boot...

funny quote myself.
I tried to tell you what part is missing by zooming your image in Photoshop but all small parts are exactly at the same position as on my samples. So I can't find what's missing on yours;-)
I am absolutely sure that chip is a PII 350 MHz like described above.
I bet my three samples that they are what I tell you.
If you are interested in a working sample I can send one:-)
