4004 4040 8008 document or circuit for demonstrate function.

Does anyone have some document or circuit of 4004 4040 8008 or 8080, I am considering the possibility to build a circuit to test them. although someone have mentioned that, but I have not seen one out.

The function of the circuit is to demonstrate the 4004 etc chip is workable.
Does anyone have good idea to test them,like test voltage，current or Resistance or other idea?

I am currently building 4004 tester based in nibbler circuit. Pcb is almost ready to produce. i will post pictures in the evening.

Want to add some program in 4001.
As it is mask rom, normally it is done by producer.

But is any other method to write date to 4001? which kind / model of programmer?
