My computer is E6700 @ 3.2 Ghz now. I want to upgrade to Xeon E3-1230 V2 . The main board i choose is Asus P8Z77-V LX . Memory is DDR3 1600.
What i concern is stability of this cpu. This is server cpu. Is it work fine on personal computer?

| should work.. might not get ECC memory support if the motherboard doesn't have the traces to the RAM to support it. But it's LGA 1155 and should have BIOS support as well. |

| With the latest BIOS, it should work. You won't be able to use ECC memory though with that board. |
