Hello all, I'm new here so be gentle Smile

I have a 28-PDIP TMS1000N MP0121, I used this as a sounds generator in
an old sythnesizer project but can no longer find any data on it or the project which was in 'Hobby Electronics' magasine I think. The project got binned but i kept the chip and was hoping to make some retro gaming sounds with it. Is there any data about it available please ?

Thanks
Andy

Many thanks indeed.

Clearly I did not realise that I have a pre-programmed device, an early form of PIC in effect, I will have to find the original magazine article I think in order to use it again.

Cool, someone's getting a bit of use out of page. lol. I've been working on dumping the code out of these chips using its test mode.

If you have the schematic for the chip you should be able to wire it up on some perf board.

And if you want to see a die shot of the chip:
