Can someone tell me what the " T " means after the sspec please? Thank you in advance.

i don't know for sure, but 'sx710 T' turns up a few hits on google.

maybe intel recalled and Tested a bunch of chips? just a guess though.

i dont have any dx-50s so i never noticed that they all have it

maybe it has something to do with the high FSB?

The 486DX-50 is the only one Intel 486 CPU with FSB more than 33 MHZ.
I think you have found the the explanation.

My i486DX-50 is "SX546 T", too.

I have 5 Intel DX2-50, all different s spes and none of them have the 't'

I have just found that I too have a DX50

Mine has a 'T' on it aswell!
