I got some military CPU(NOS).
They are very beautiful.
but....
They don't have any word on the bottom.
Are they fake? _________________ ------------------------------

always hard to tell with MD808x parts as a lot had oddball copyright dates
but nearly all D package 808x after 1996 have no markings on the bottom
other points to note
normally all D package after 1992 had engraved markings
the markings on the 8085 & 8087 are saying that they were packaged in 2007
not sure if Intel was still producing them or licence for REI to produce was in place _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

I think they were remarked. It is hard to sell chips 20-30 years old and maybe solution to the buisness was refurbishing old ones. Was done by not clever company - because of same lot numbers.
That is only my suspicion. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

I may say that they are normally not fakes, but some of them were remarked the marking on top, so they can sell as NOS and others buy them and use in device.
Eg, I have almost all kind of MD8087, but can not find any similar to yours, so .... _________________ **********************

unsual but not impossible, to not have the /B too
/B designated MIL-STD-883 Class B screening, where as just MD.... means nothing more then military temp range _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

My comments:
-MD8080A/B copyright 82 seems wrong. Mine has copyright 74 and most 8080s have 74 or 79 as the copyright
- MD8085A/B has 89 copyright. 8085s had 76 or 80 copyright. Mine has copyright 80
- MD8086/B I think is real
- MD8088 - never seen an 82 copyright, I think this is a fake/remark by the text as well
- MD8087 is fake/remark _________________ My former Intel collection:

Thank you for every one.
I asked the seller.
These chip some are remark. But 100% work.
I will be returned to them _________________ ------------------------------ |
