| Is it possible to use two pentium 3 (tualatin core, 1400/512/133) with different stepping on one motherboard ? |

...the first processor has A1 stepping, the second has B1 stepping. Will they correctly work together ?

shouldn't be any problem as most boards will accept processors that are only one stepping different
and also seeing Tualatins came in only 2 steppings
normal preference is older stepping in socket 1
the errata differences that tA1 stepping has and tB1 stepping doesn't are these 2
Incorrect assertion of THERMTRIP# Signal
The Instruction Fetch Unit (IFU) may fetch instructions based upon stale CR3 data after a write to CR3 register
Even in Intel datasheet they list that there is no known issues mixing tA1 & tB1 steppings of the same processor speed _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:
