I need to replace my CPU but was surprised to find it is sealed to the motherboard. (Image below -link)
Can anyone suggest the best way to remove and also what I need (glue, wax?) to install the new processor?
Any advice is would be greatly received.

your cpu is welded to the board. your cpu cannot be replaced.
removing this cpu will effectively destroy your laptop unless you have some pretty hefty soldering equipment and a lot of patients and knowledge with ball grid array. |

It's soldered. They don't weld electrical components to boards. |

| i understand that but a lot of people understand the term welded where they may not understand soldered. considering the OP was looking right at the cpu and didn't notice that the cpu was soldered to the board inclined me to take a different approach in trying to explain what was going on with their situation. |
