|
|
Clearing out the premises of an IT company that has moved, and I came across an Intel AP450GX barebones server.
It includes manuals, rails, etc all in bags. With it I found some suitable Ram, 4x matching Pentium Pros with heatsinks and an Adaptec AAA133 new in box, with some 4.5Gb SCSI SCA HDDs.
The unit is huge, as in I can't lift it huge, so would not be suited for anything but collection from within the UK unless you really really want it, and can arrange shipping. I will shift it and test it if anyone is serious about buying it - otherwise into the bin it goes. The specs are pretty cool:
4x Pentium Pro
2Gb Memory max
9x SCA UW SCSI
Dual redundant PSU
Dual channel UW SCSI
Triple Channel cached UW RAID (21 devices)
I will send photos to anyone who asks.

What price? Where in the UK are you?
If you are serious about binning it, I may be able to travel to collect it for preservation. _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

I am in Dorset. I will recycle the CPUs for the gold - but the rest will be gone if I don't get someone grabbing it. I figure something like £50 for expenses as I will have to take a morning/afternoon off to meet whoever wants it. Seem fair?
CPUs could be included at gold value - the drives, Ram, controller cards etc all included. |

| I do also have a load of old UK PC mags from the 80s in great condition in the same building. If the buyers wants them, they are included. |

I would be interested in collecting it as a working quad processor system for £50, at a time that you are off work (eg weekend or evening). No need to take time off work for it as I don't work so am almost always free. If that sounds fair we can arrange it via PM _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

| I've got the IBM branded version of this server - its really cool! If there any memory modules available, i'd be interested. |

I collected this system and some other parts 9including a boxed Atari 3010) from Ian (Vlad) this morning. Great guy to deal with. I just wish I had been able to hire a van so I could remove everything he was offering _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.
