judging by the layout of the board and the size/shape of the die, id say its a pentium 2..
if you look on the back of the card there should be a sticker there, try googling some of those numbers. |

The processor is a Katmai Pentium 3, I couldn't tell you what speed grade, but I have a 450Mhz P3 here and it looks absolutely identical.
EDIT:
No, nevermind, just had another look over the P3 and there are a few resistors out of place, and the die might be a slightly different shape (but that could be distortion in the photo)
I change my vote to .25 micron P2 |

well, i have a pentium 2 400mhz (deschutes) that matches yours pretty close:

the chip on the back of mine has a different sspec than yours does, but the PB number matches it exactly. also, the sspec on the back of yours is from a pentium 2. so I'd say its definately a pentium 2, deschutes core.
as for what speed, whos to say. The multiplier would be locked anyhow, so just drop it in a slot 1 board, make sure the FSB is set to 100mhz, and start it up. it could be a 66mhz fsb part, but since its core is exposed id bet its a newer deschutes so its probably 100mhz fsb. it'll probably post at 400 or 450mhz. |

Well i've tried to use it on a p2 motherboard that support those speeds (up to 450Mhz), but the machine don't go (making a horrible beeping). I think that is damaged (also i've tried to use it at lower speeds, but continues doing that beeping) |

what kind of beeping? one long, two short? continuous long beeps?
even if it was a p3, it should still work on most p2 boards, i think |

continous short beeps. with other p2's (a 333(66mhz fsb)and 350(100mhz fsb)) the beeper doesn't make any noise and goes well . |
