I have a Supermicro Server with an SLAGC Xeon 5130 DC Processor and I have a SLANP Xeon 5130 DC Processor, can I use these two different processors in this server?
Thanks!

SLANP is an X5460, completely different from the 5130. I doubt they would work well together _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

In addition to the SLAGC installed in the Server, I have an SL9RX. Will these too work well together?
Thanks!

| Generally it's recommended processors be the same stepping when used in SMP systems. |

oh yea that X5460 is in a whole different ball park than the 5130..
but yea in multiple processor set up's, it's always best to use 2 of the same exact chips. anything different could have your computer acting all weird if not outright refuse to work. |
