I am not a collector. I have a few Intel chips and would like to determine real value to determine if I should sell them. I have: qty 2 Intel C4004 white cermic pkg. qty 12 Intel C1101A white ceramic pkg; qty 1 Intel 1101A white ceramic pkg w/grey leads; qty 2 Intel p4002-1 plastic pkg. All chips are unused and in original plastic holders.
Any guidance or help would be appreciated.

C4004 white - $500-1000 (depends if you get lucky with multiple bidders)
C1101A - $25-50
P4002-1 - $15-20

Wide range on some I know, but really depends on how many buyers are around at the time you want to sell. Sometimes you will get lucky and get a high price, other times not

fairly uncommon for a white C4004 to hit $1000, grey trace ones definitely though. From time to time the bidding gets hot though

Agree, but has happened (one in nov sold for $1025), even though that is way over what I consider to be fair price. The stats from ebay auctions from here (but includes grays):
Min: $199.99, max $3500, average $736. Taking out grays I reckon the average for a white C4004 is closer to $500
Value is always going to be subjective...simple answer - it's worth what someone's willing to pay
