A one of a kind so far set is up for sale conatining the R8086 in a clcc package as well as an awsome 8080 university kit too. ill probly add some other interesting stuff to the mix in the next few days as well.

I think it's just a package example. It is still very rare, even if it doesn't have a die inside.

I would also agree its a package example, and is missing a die. But I dont know one way or the other for a fact.

i think its easy to find ...Just a multimeter ... .. test random chip pins and if contuction something is inside in Its empty1! |

The last two end tonight, so come and get some truly spectacular Intel chips. A must have for the X86 collectors and both kits contain one of a kind chips up to this date, And I suspect we might never see another R8086 come up again for sale anywhere.
