Alright I will do all of that, i did reset the BIOS and even downgraded them but it didnt work. I will let you guys know

Uninstalling Catalyst didnt change anything, multiplier is still at 7

ok give me a bit.. it's been pretty crazy lately.. i'll try to figure something out.. are any power saving options currently on in bios? also you can check your power options in the control panel and make sure the processor has the ability to run at 100%

Yea i've checked both of those, its at performance setting. i think it might be software blocking the multiplier because temps are fine :/ thx for helping me Smile

Download Ubuntu, burn it and see if that different OS makes things go different.

You can launch the Os from the dvd and it will not erase your data, quite easy.

If you still get readings low as the ones you have maybe it's not Os related but a bad chip.

Can you post the specs of your motherboard?

we figured out his "slow mode" was switched on from the motherboard causing his processor to remain underclocked.
