Looks simply beautiful to me! But don't those PPro's need coolers? _________________ Collecting soviet and western CPUs once again -- highfive to old-timers o/ |

Not really. Even if they become too hot... nothing happens. _________________ Frank.

Which ones? PL-Pro II are rare or brand new very expensive. The Slot1<-Socket 8 adapters are not that rare. Rare are fitting mobos. No normal Slot1 mobo will accept the adapter. _________________ Frank. |

This is one of the only mobo which can run PPro in Slot 1. And this even in dual mode and with 2 engineering samples |
That's just showing off! _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

You can also try to find one of these "sSpec SL2KE (Intel Pentium II)". This is the Intel P-Pro OD chip. I have one, but, it's in use right now. From what work I have done, any MB that can support a PPro200 can handle this CPU. |

Love that setup
What MB is this by chance? Also, where can I find the Slot1 adapters?
Thnx, Bryan |

Hmmm, just a quick guess , are these actually slot2 adapters? As I think this must be a dual Xeon board, right? |

OK, but now it's not a PPro anymore
So, you really can't say what you did. The best I've ever done with OC'ng PPro's is a 150 running at 200.
Anyway, I guess it's the thought that counts right? |

Hehehe... the HP LS runs now with 4x Pentium P55C with 40MHz bus speed with 4x multiplier. That makes 4x 240MHz Pentium MMX. Performing nicely.
We now have a 8x Pentium Pro 1M system with 1 Gig EDO RAM, and room for 3 additional GB
Right from me there is a very nice ALR QUAD 6 running in test phase today with 3x 600MHz. Maybe I will put some PPro ODP in there LOL. Ahh yeah... It has 16x 64MB EDO RAM with 4way interleaving. _________________ Frank. |
