It doesn't look like a 486 for me because I can't see any large microcode ROM there that should be in all 486 dies. I also have found die shots of almost all 486 versions and none of them is like this.
It is also not like any of the SPARC dies I've seen, but this could be some DSP due to large cache and many small datapaths. |
