Sorry for bad word that I used. Engineer have many other means when we translate to polish so I not used it. Frassl think it is 3x 50 and this is time to end discussion because it goes to be paranoic. No problem. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

I think that this cpu is not fake, but AMD only manufactured a few, and they are distributed solely by ComputerNerd in upgrade modules.
If this is correct, the cpu is AMD 5x86 150MHz (50x3.0) was set up "486 Processor Adapters" of ComputerNerd.
To get internal clock multiplication X3, pin R-17 (CLKMUL) it has to be connected to +3.3 Vs (very simple with the adapter, look also EVERGREEN Am5X86-P75)
Naturally if the cpu (without adapter) it doesn't have multiplier for 4, it is not AMD 5x86.
Also Cyrix distributed 5x86 133MHz 33x4.0 only at ComputerNerd.

When I have finished sorting out my web pages (or at least the 386+ ID pages) I'll be able to post a link to the info I have ...
Settings for an Am5x86, and the values returned by CPUID for each of them are as follows:
CPUID=0484, CPU=Am5x86 150, WT mode, 50MHz * 3
CPUID=0494, CPU=Am5x86 150, WB mode, 50MHz * 3
CPUID=04E4, CPU=Am5x86 133/160, WT mode, multiplier = 4
CPUID=04F4, CPU=Am5x86 133/160, WB mode, multiplier = 4
So, simply put it in a board, run a CPU ID app and see what it returns (make sure you know what settings you have on the board for WT/WB).
As long as you're not sure if it's genuine, set it to be running at a slower speed - this won't affect the CPUID return value! _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

too late! haha, plus i need to see it powered up anyway
I am still shocked...
Why why why why? they are the same CPU. X5, nothing different but the speed. It would make sense _________________ 4000+ chips.

This chip is a non-sense ! WHy do they called it P75+ whereas they have X5-133-P75 ? They could have called it X5-150 P90... |

No, the X5 133 is 'apparently' running at the same power of an P75. So the X5 150 shouldn't... |

I will have AMD 5x86 P100 - 160ADZ . Which is 99% fake in my mind. I wrote email to AMD. Maybe they will confirm that. I will post picture here and if somebody want this fake cpu - welcome _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |
