I insure my collection at $60,000 but its hard to value collectables

cost me about $100/year, which is very resonable

Ahh! I'm so stupid... I just realized all my chips are covered in the house's insurance! Very Happy I found out I need to make an inventory list of all that I have, then if they get stolen or damaged, I'm covered! Laughing

Maybe, maybe not, most home owners insurance consider them to be electronics, and there is a specific limit on how much $$ they cover for electronics (typically $5k or so)

Really? I gotta ask my parents and find out for sure. If it's not covered, $100 is a great deal.

I called up my insurance agent and asked (in this case Farmers)

My collection is ensured up to $20,000 but if it were to burn up in a fire or something like that I would be suicidal as that wouldn't begin to cover what I have in it.
