Ok, this thread was about the name of the color. (I will get back to the other differences!)

I have pink and sepia.

Any one else?

I noticed in the "gold Cyrix MII 300GP" Large logo, that you(cpuswe) have a "V".
I have exact one but no "V" after the MII.
Whats up with that?

I know it's off topic for this thread, but...

The MII runs at 2.9V
The MIIv runs at 2.2V

So they are actually different processors, not just different markings.

hehe, thanks for a new english word:-)
As the german word "eloxiert" wasn't in my dictionary I hoped that this - also for germans - strange word might be used in english too.
It didn't but we got the right thing.

Looks like I made a mistake. Ithought the v was an indicator of a low voltage processor as my MIIv 400 runs says 2.2v and the slower MIIs without a v all say 2.9v (at least, those I have checked so far).

I should have waited til I finish sorting out my collection (organising into CD case to take up about quarter the space of when in boxes with foam), then I'd have taken the time to look it up properly Smile

If I find data on it I'll post in a separate thread.

PS - "he" is a she - probably the first female CPU collector most of you will have met Smile

What's even worse is that it's a girl who has got hundreds of processors and is losing count! Hopefully by the end of the weekend I'll actually know how many (once I finish organising them), then it's time to lose count count again as the results of all my recent auctions start to pile up Smile
