HP risc processor identification

Can anyone tell me please what's the difference between 3AA1-1105 and 3AA1-1005 ? I found infos about 3AA1-1105 - risc processor 8600 @ 500 mhz but nuttin' about 3AA1-1005...

not sure anyone knows what the differences are
1105 should be a revised 1005.. but what the changes are.. could be anything

yep
changes could be extra instructions, voltage changes, TDP, host of things

As for 3AA1-1105 - risc processor 8600 @ 500 mhz
8600 yes.. but speed may not be correct
same part number could be different speeds.. only if you had card number could you confirm speed
Guessing they tested.. best went on say 550MHz cards
most on 500MHz cards
down rated ones on 450MHz cards

even may have been ones on oddball speed cards like 480 or 510MHz

I personally call pa-risc processor.. pa-whats Laughing

i only have this 2 from the picture and one more with different markings so i'll assume they are 3 different cpus ...
