Very nice article.

Before reading it, I've been believing that 6502 was a redesigned version of 6501 to avoid the sue with Motorola.

Super article. I "programmed" the 6502 at college on a dev board inputting the "code" in using a built in 16 key keypad one byte at a time........

For mee too it's a complete surprise to know 6502 was not the pinout redesign of 6501!

Thats the main reason I ended up writing the article (and to show off my 6501 lol)

Wanted to dispel that myth lol
