my bad, HP not Compaq 
pics? will this bad pics do ? btw i just plugged in some HDD with XP on it and
stuck it in IDE port,as for other errors i dont have a clue whats wrong
TR-DLS is at my brothers house/basement/somewhere...pics soon |

I'd like to see BIOS options for chipset/memory tweaking and overclocking. If any. |

Yes it is CUR-DLS it has very small stamp on the edge of the board, not
between the CPUs like on ASUS board. Only thing i remember Asus
said it supports 4gb of memory and HP in their manual said it's good for
only 2Gb.. I entered the Bios, but didnt see any stuff related to tweaking/OCing :\ |

I'll throw in one P3 SL4CD cpu with some lame cooler, 1x256 and 2x128Mb
with E800 board for same price.
Didn't manage to dig out TR yet... |

Sometimes if you force a shutdown during some point in the boot process, then change the amount of system memory and power on again, you can get a memory error similar to this one.
Look for something in the BIOS settings along the lines of "Clear DIMM error". You may also want to look for something to "Reset configuration data". Once you've done this, save the BIOS settings and reboot. Does the error still come up? If so, press F4, wait for boot to complete, then reboot. Does the error still come up? If so, move the memory module to another location and reboot. Does the error still appear?
If you can clear this error, you have a better chance of making a sale. |

Ohh it's been a while..I managed to boot it up, put OS on IDE hdd and run
Everest and few other programs on it. Now I am running one 866mhz and one 800mhz P3 cpu and they work in this configuration on this board, but sometimes computer freezes. I guess it's
due to different cpus and t's causing Error during boot up that says :
Error 9023-62 Warning-an error with no error messase has been logged
The power on self test has detected a failure limited to the system board internal functions- Skipping rhis error message
and continuing may result in unstable sstem beahviour,ar a system hung during the boot process.
I was installng OS for about 3 days just to figure
out one or both ancient SCSI hdd's I got are not working. Also, nor FDD
not CDR was working. But in the end IDE hdd was used to install OS. |
