Hi there
I got a beamer out of a scrap lot and the DLP chip is broken...but hard to find ones for less than 150$...there are only these insane ebay prices...
Maybe someone has them laying around or something. |

Maybe you get lucky here, but I think your best chance is to keep looking for scrap/broken/repair item on eBay.
I have seen faulty projectors go cheap before. Good luck! |

Maybe just poor design, or compromised implementation of the reference design.
Out if interest what happens to the DLP in tha failed projector? |

The DLP is producing a lot of white pixels and the picture looks very....snowy  |
