I have always felt distributed computing like seti@home and the million others are a horrible waste of ENERGY. Sad

if you dont agree with what theyre trying to do, i suppose it is.

finding a cure for cancer (or whatever it is folding@home does) is pretty worthwhile.. i dont care to run them tho
