E6550 vs E5300

Core 2 Duo E6550 2.3ghz VS Pentium E5300 Dual core 2.66ghz

Hello cpu fans!
I have another question in inportance of comparison between the two above.
Is the E5300 really worth the trouble of upgrading over the E6550 ?
Is the difference within gaming VERY noticeable?

More important, can the Dell Inspiron Model 530 containing this E6550, take the switch with the E5300 ?

Thank you.

(ps 530 has no other revision number that I can find. But the system can handle 8gb of ram currently, so it must be decent?)

...I saw in the site's comparison graph that both are not far off from one another. But the 5300 comes out better over all.

is this accurate?

Your computer uses Intel G965 Express chipset, and it doesn't seem to support 45nm processors:
