Hey all,
I was looking to get rid of some old processors that had just been sitting around gathering dust when I saw this Athlon 64 3000+.
An image search on google didn't bring up one like it, so anyone here know anything as to why the code's blanked out and the code "XLY0060H0325" is underneath and in a different font? Tried scratching a little at the block, but it just removed some dirt. Any info would be appreciated.
Not sure if it's collectable or not, so, sorry if this is the wrong section, from the search, it's at least unique as far as I can tell.
Anyhoo, cheers for looking.

Possible, my dad said he got it from a friend or a shop that does used stuff.. Can't seem to dig anything up from the code though..

I'm no expert, but don't IBM part numbers consist 2 digits, one letter then 4 more digits? _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

It was remarked with a different serial number, and that explains why the data matrix was erased (it contains serial number encoded). It's not clear though who did this.
