Funny way for this chip... Thanks for information ! _________________ My microprocessor collection: The Gecko's CPU Library |

I tried to look up which pins were jumpered but those two were outside of my Socket 5/7 chart. And yes, you can add my photo to your library. |
Is it for sale or trade? |

This is my only engineering sample (I know I'm pathetic compared to everyone here), so I'm holding onto it for now unless you have an AMD 5x86 150. I always wanted one of those |

also, about that intel chip above..
i dont believe thats an ES. i have a to of pentiums with 'ES" markings. we discussed it before, but i cant find the thread. basically theres a lot of 2 char markings, like ES, AF, CH, UX, EE, UJ, etc etc etc.
if its really an ES it should have a Q-spec on the top side. |

It does have Q-Spec on the top side, recheck it please. I'll take new pics once I get it from Michael. |

The first pic he showed of it was of the top side (go back to page 7 of this thread), with the original Intel heatsink (although with the quality of the pic I didn't find it easy to tell if it's the original h/s). It shows the sSpec Q033, and says "CONFIDENTIAL". The thing that makes me doubt it is that the sSpec is the same as a known sSpec for a PPro ES, which wouldn't happen (or are Intel really that bad?). Then again I'm not an expert - I know more about how to identify a processor from it's CPUID or reset return values and other programmable features... _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

didnt see that, sorry
my isp has the entire TOWN on a t1. i can barely load the threads, much less the pics. i thought he just posted the one
still, my point stands, 'ES' on the back doesnt nessecarily mean its an es. |

On the ceramic top of the chip itself it also says Intel confidential, Q033, and the P54CM50-75. It is the genuine Intel heatsink. |
