Just had someone give me a dead PS3 (YLOD). Don't care to fix it, so I am parting it out. I'm debating whether I want to keep the chips on the board, or remove them for my collection. Opinions?

I would keep on board. I think original board is always the prettiest display for cpu. I'm keeping few cpus in my collection on their boards. Mostly things with sentimental value for me (like Atari 65xe board, C64 and so on) Smile

I would keep on board too, specially for first versions with PS2 Emotion Engine.
