|
|
Hello, everyone. Sorry for kept you waiting for a long time. My 4004/4040 testboards are finally done and ready to sell. Here are some pictures--
Every kit includes a board, a ZIF socket for 4040, two ZIF sockets for 4002&4004 and a Mini-USB cable. You may test your 4004/4040 CPUs as well as 4002-1 or 4002-2 RAMs. The boards are soldered myself, and washed to make them look clean.
Currently, I have made 14 boards. 2 for my Chinese friends, 2 reserved for sandman and his friend and 1 for CPUShack. So there are 9 boards plus 9 D4289s avaliable. I counted the pre-order topic and found 15 other members interested, so this time, not all of you would get the board.
I'm really tired of school work and lab work, but I'll try to make more boards avaliable for everyone in the coming days. I'll not solder them myself, instead, sending them to the factory. That costs a lot but also faster. In order to make it fair to everyone, I have to increase the price to $50 for one board without D4289 and $60 for one with new D4289.
If you have a 4289 yourself, it's welcomed that you save the 4289 for other members.
However, I'm very willing to use the boards for exchanging CPUs, especially DIP chips with original board. Currently I have very little collection. If you like to exchange, please give me a list.
Payment through paypal. My paypal is lhfjames@163.com. Please pay with gift option or add the fee(3.9%+$0.39).
Shipping via air mail costs $12. You may either pay before or after you receive the board.
Finally, members who pre-ordered are listed below. They have priority to buy the boards:
smithy
Chiefish
Neon_WA
isa-d
Marcin
wepwawet
D.8080
Chook
gshv
xhoba
cooperalp
lither
Twinrocket
iguana
Qwerty
A thread will appear soon and I'll upload the manual, schematic, a very simple assembler and the source code of the test program.
Thank you for all the support and kindness to me. They encouraged me a lot!

Thank you for all your interest!
Seems the need of the boards is far more then expected.
I'll wait for 3 more days for those members who pre-ordered, and then decide who will get the board in sequence.
Thanks again!
