Not sure if I should be posting this here but:
I bought a new Printer today with a wireless network interface and I am having trouble connecting it to my wireless network.
The Printer is a Samsung Color Laser Model CLX-3305FW
I run a Belkin N300 Wireless Modem-Router hardwired to my desktop which is and old P4 IBM running Win 2000 Professional.
My Lappy, which I use all the time, is a Samsung running Win7 and Bev, my wife, has an Acer e-machine lappy with Win Vista.
Both the lappies connect to the Belkin Router via wireless with no problems as do our Samsung Duos S Smartphones.
My old printer is a HP 5 mono laser that I have hard wired to the Belkin Router.
The Samsung Laser should be a breeze to get talking to the Belkin Router as a wireless printer and the router says it finds it when I do a PBC (Push Button Configuration) on the Belkin and Samsung Printer but it goes no further and the Samsung Printer just says connecting and flashes the Wireless light and also goes no further.
Anyone got any ideas as to what I may be doing wrong?
Spent hours on it today and got no further ahead.
Thanks in advance _________________ The Older they are the Better they are. |
