|
|
Hi everyone. I just want to say this now, I know nothing about CPU's aside from their names and types (Green Fiber, slot, ceramic, etc). I run a computer recycling business and bought some circuit boards that had these strange chips on them. They have a hard rubber bottom with pins sticking out and a hollow aluminum cap on the top. I have never seen a CPU like this before. If you guys could tell me what I'm looking at here, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks guys!
There is another one that has this information on it:
79x3436ESD
IBM 14
187190111F
Those small red ones look the same. If yall could help me, that would be awesome! |

| It's definitely an IBM part, but i'm thinking it's a simple logic device. More than likely if you lift the aluminum lid, there will be several small monolithics under it. |

IBM chips like this are hard to identify, but your ideea to show us "uncommon chips" is very good... please do it in future too... _________________ https://www.facebook.com/CPUCollectionRO |

Thanks guys. I looked at those small red ones for a better look and it turns out that they are experimental chips. I thought this was interesting.
Also, does anyone know what this is? I read somewhere that this was some kind of old CPU unit, but I'm not sure.
