| Hello. I have a Toshiba Satelite L755D-21Q and I wanted to upgrade its CPU. So I found that my pc has a Socket FS1. I found that AMD A8 4500m was for Sochet FS1 too and I bought it. When the time to change my cpu came, i installed my new cpu and all went fine, till the time I tried to boot it up. The normal white light appeared but no screen turned on. Then i changed back to my old cpu and my pc turned on perfectly. WHAT IS GOING ON? |

Your notebook motherboard has socket FS1 revision 1, and is only compatible with FS1r1 APUs codenamed Llano.
The A8 4500M is socket FS1 revision 2, codenamed Trinity, and it is not compatible with the motherboard. |
