Referendum on joining Russia should be under under international supervision, otherwise EU and USA won´t accept it.
If Crimea becomes a part of Russia, whether that is necessary its recognition EU and USA?

I think thats part of the problem, the rest of the work (ok mainly the USA, and UN) seem to think they need to approve, or have a hand/say in everyone elses business.

For me this is not a USA matter, this is a matter of the Ukrainian people, and whatever they decide, we should offer our support.

If they ASK for help in mediation etc, then the rest of the world should provide it, but to meddle in others affairs, without them wanting it, is not good.

It agree. But whether we learn the present opinion of Ukrainian people? Propagation from both sides deforms a reality.

The question is what is "becomes a part of Russia?".

Today Crimea is Ukraine.
Russian army is foreign.
Do you believe in "referendum" under foreign guns?
The only legitimate way is all-Ukrainian referendum.

I hope that russia and ukraine solve it, however putin looks like he doesnt need to solve something.

It's bad because I am living in Poland and we have known from history how evil russians and german could be.

Democration in ukraine wont solve anything - thiefs and corrupttion everywhere, after I seen gold janukowicz toilet my eyes popped out Wink

Yes I think that a referendum is valid if all country participate. This is the problem with Spain and Cataluña that only want a referendum with only Yes as valid option xD

And a referendum with army in the streets isnt a really valid in my opinion

Don't seen this topic before.
Russia is the most evil country in the world. We were not lucky with the neighbors. Now we understand why China have their great wall Very Happy

Russia will never be in Europe because this is another people. Ukrainians and Russians not brothers. The Soviet Union killed many people and mix nations and now we a have lot of problems.
I do not like Russians because they don't want to change anything. They support their bad government and don't want to change. They always want a war, only war, war and nothing another. Russia country have only slaves and enemies and no friends.

And always remember, this is true
"Any agreement with Russia is not even worth the paper on which it was written"
