Nope, the 9.5 multiplier is correct for this chip (9.5x333 (QDR) ) and gives a 3.16GHz core.

The screenshot shows (333x), and <some_number>x usually means <some_number> multiplier.

Elar got it! Shoehorned a 771 X5460 onto an old G31 775 motherboard. Ultimately headed for my son's EVGA 780i FTW 3 way SLI board, but wanted to test it on a cheapie board first.
