We have two candidates for the Asia/Australia region - Vlasta and Chook. In my opinion, Chook is a slightly better fit for the moderator as he joined the forum earlier, and he does not travel. So, I chose him. The second new moderator is frag_.
Vlasta, iguana and debs - thanks for offering your help! It may still be needed if we will have problems handling increased amount of spam.
To new moderators:
It is up to you whether you want to delete spam or move it to the "Trash" forum. Moving to the Trash forum is preferable, as it allows me to:
- Delete accounts of spammers
- Block their IP addresses in case of repeated abuse
- Use content of messages to update or test our spam filters.
