a nice PIC17 MCU, they are very pretty, but not a lot collect them unfortunately

I do, and aberco, and tegranphos, and a few others

I have one of these as well, would be sad to scrap it, although it's not worth a lot of $$$.

These are general purpose microcontrollers, these EPROM variants are meant to be used for program development as the production version comes in PROM that cannot be erased.
