https://blog.ebay.com/ebay-inc-ask-ebay-users-change-passwords/

You may want to change your password if you haven't done so.

I read that they also recommend people to change the password on other sites that use the same password.

Ebay is so much reach company and still have not good security. What a shame.

I hope hacker is honestly and will only drain them for a few milions $ without using our passwords.

LOL, I just changed my password on eBay and decided to update on other sites. Hotmail told me I can't use a password longer than 16 characters! My new password is super strong and unless sites store it as plain text nobody will find it without an HPC to decrypt it Smile I guess Hotmail don't want to make it too difficult for any potential hacker Smile

Haha just a limitation of how the hash them, 16 characters can end up with a pretty hefty hash
