Hello,
Recently I got Intel D4040 processor but I am not sure if it is original or fake or refurbished. It is in perfect condition, tested and working. Datacode is 8049 Philippines.
What is your opinion?

Why do you suspect it?
Looks genuine. |

Well, I have not seen D4040 with two lines of markings beetween D4040 and Intel before. But then I made some research on forum users museum pages and find one ( http://molka.x86-guide.com/en/collection/Intel-4040-CDIP-cpu-no6051.html ). But now there is a second question: is this type of marking rarer than one line? I've chcecked 10 museums and the one that I linked above was the last one.

Thank you for your help and good news
There is AN on the other side. What does it refer to and S1360 too?

The AN is an internal Intel production code. It is on most Intel dips & even most PGA packages
It is very unlikely to be able to work it's full meaning except that the first character is always a M if it is a military product
S1360 is a series sSpec.. an early form of the sSpec prior to sSpecs used on all Intel products
Originally they were only used if the testing of the processor varied from original spec of that product
So a product with a series sSpec meant the testing was not standard and a product without a series sSpec had standard testing carried out on it
This could mean additional or less testing of the product or even if testing was standard could show it was made for a particular OEM order _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:
