This is my own card purchased back in 1993 and since gathering dust in an old gaming pc which is no longer used. Machine was fired up and tested, see video of it working play intro to Monkey Island. Do not really fancy letting it go but if truth be told it will probably never get used again and gather more dust, sniff.

No idea what a card like that is worth, but if it is worth anywhere close to that price (which would surprise me) a 50p paint brush would take 30 seconds to remove the dust. At any price. a little cleaning can make a big difference:) _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

I know what you mean but tested it working and popped straight into anti-static bag so know it works.
Have an air compressor at work that I could use to clean off but rather left alone so that someone can see it has not been fixed/repaired etc - a bit like when I get a second hand car, sparkly engine makes me think what have they done, a bit of oil here and there shows (hopefully) they are not hiding something
TBH it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, the last 2-3 on ebay have gone for that as their opening price with no other bids, may there was only 2-3 people willing to pay that for it .
I will see how it goes - yesterday someone bought from me a creative labs sound blaster 2 8 bit ISA card for just over £45 and some fair prices for my other vintage pc cards which surprised me. |

This is in the right section, IMO. I won't move it as it is not CPU related. Another mod may feel differently though _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

| I'd pick compressed air ANY day over a paintbrush. There's too high of a chance of a paintbrush generating static charges while it's rubbing against the board, and damaging the card. |
