This arrived in a box of processors this morning.

It had a sticker on it which said DX2-66 SX750

But i took it off - and look at the chip: no markings.

I had one like that too... I took the heatsink off and all was well.

I take the heatsinks off by clamping the heatsink in a big vice, then close the vice down, the heatsink bends and off the chips pops.. NO DAMAGE. I have done it hundreds of times.

I man, did they come from intel in this condition, or did a computer manufacturer add this heatsink?

It looks like an Intel heatsink, and its fixed down really well, so I am 99% sure it is an intel fit, probably to customer requirements about the markings/or lack thereof.

I had one just like this before, no markings on the heatsink, I popped the heatsink off and there was all the markings as expected on the ceramic itself.
