GH, could you give us your full name and your business address please?
LA is 6 hr drive for me, which is not too bad, but I will just ask my friend in LA to pick up the chips for us. If you don't allow a local pick, at least give us the address to let us know that you are really in the business. _________________ My Intel CPU Museum: http://www.mynikko.com/CPU/

Come on... We can spend hundreds of dollars on Ebay buying chips from half around the world from someone we know only as "usedchips.com". But when someone here have something to show they have to prove they exist by giving out addresses and proofing they exist.
Stop this or we will end up here trading Pentium 100:s by ourselves... _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. Now over 6000 different chips in the database. |

yeah and even worst when I have to proof I exist when I am giving free chips out
I offer free chips to 11 people and Iam fake. I spoke to John C on the phone to make arrangements to ship everybodys chips, and now that SAMMY C wants 3 forms of ID social seurity number and mothers maiden name I get badgerd to who Iam.
I will meet up with anybody here on the FORM.......( in 1 condition)
SAMMY C appoligizes for his remarks after I confirm to the person you choose to verify I exist.....
Honestly I cant believe iam doing this.....lol
I ship chips to companys for over 20-30 thousands dollars overnight to companies in Florida but i have to verify who iam to give out free chips.
this place is great.....lol

Your yahoo account you are posting from is brand new.
You have chosen to deal with some one in the UK and not close to you.
You have appeared from no where. _________________ 4000+ chips.

My email address has been in use for at least a year or more.....
i didnt choose the person in UK, the person simply asked if I needed help to which I responded with a yes.....
I appeared from no-where......?
Wow........ I would like to know how you came to that conclusion?
I do not know who you are, but you dont see me making false accusations to the credibitlity of who you are.

Lets quit this danged bickering and get things rolling.
Send out some chips (you have mine and debs address) and we'll go from there.
I don't need your blood type or anything, but a phone number would help. (you seem easier to reach by PH then e-mail) _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

This all could have been avoided if the site required and enforced the posting of prices in the For sale/trade thread. This situation is exactly why some of us do not like the blind auctions. Maybe we need another thread for auctions that are not ebay auctions? It could be called "request for offers".
GH - you will be wasting time and money shipping gold scrap to the UK. Just post some pics in the "request for information" thread to let everyone, "in the light of day", identify the processors from the rest of the chips and identify rare chips. Some of what you have is collectible, a lot of it is just scrap IMO. Also, VAT (value added tax) is going to eat value too and require cash up front from Debs to accept delivery. I doubt UK customs is going to allow a package that will be as heavy as what you are going to send pass as a gift without looking inside...
and then they will see the gold...

Wow! What a thread... I thought I had some good ones but this was worth reading.
I was one of the guys that offered $1,000 for the 1302s Of course I wasn't going to hog them all and planned on splitting them up with a few other collectors. I had already talked to a few people about that.
With all this out of the way, I would like one of your 1302s if you would be willing to sell me one. I offer $100 for one which is all I really want anyway.
Let me know if this is doable?

haha same here, I also offered $1000 and planned to re-distribute at the same price I paid ($50 per chip). But since a new scenario's about to happen, I retract the bid. _________________ http://www.RareCPUs.com
