S-Spec: QEIS ES
Part Number: HH80551PG0881M

This doesn't match any single chip on this site. QEIS seems to be a Pentium D but HH80551PG0881M seems to be a Pentium EE.

Perhaps its a Pentium D EE?

I'll try to get a pic up later today.

For now it looks like:

Of course the actual numbers are a little different.

The picture isn't showing up here - when I right click on it in Firefox your server says "You don't have permission to access /hwdb/dualcore-intel/cpu.jpg on this server."

That was an image I found on Google. You're right, it seems to be gone now. Odd.

Here's another:

Ah, It's just a standard Intel issue engineering sample 775 socket. Pretty new I should think?

Yes, relatively new.

But what is it? I was initially told it was a Pentium EE 840 Dual Core. Then just a Pentium 840 D. But the markings seem to indicate the former. I'm just trying to figure out exactly what it is and if it has any collectors value so I can figure out what to do with it.

Unfortunately, I don't have a computer to try it in.

Thanks,
-Joel

I'm betting that's a Pentium 4 551, 3.4GHz with Speedstep technology (Also with 64bit support). Smile

It probably has more value to the overclockers market atm since I think most newish engineering samples have unlocked multipliers

I don't know why your part is marked HH80551PG0881M. The information you see on the page below came from Intel:
http://www.cpu-world.com/sspec/QE/QEIS.html

Do you have a system you can plug this CPU into?

No, I don't have a motherboard to try it in. It would certainly help if I did.

I did more research on this part, and I beleive it's a dual-core Pentium D with 2 MB L2 cache. L2 cache size (1M) in the part number is per core.
