Have a look at this.
I received it with the silicon wafer u may remember, and the 386CX sample box and the Black mech sample.
SX308
I0120002 <-------- What sort of date is that?
And it uses the Old Logo ( No DX, and small i ) _________________ 4000+ chips.

| Isn't it SX308, one of the earliest 486, CPUID 401. Date is week 12 1990. |

This came with what seemed like a marketing pack. The back plate is removed revealing the core _________________ 4000+ chips.

If I read the date code of mine correctly, it's from 1989. Does anyone have more info on SSpec SX249 at hand?
If anyone's out there with Intel Spec documents (as PDF maybe), I'd be thankful for any hints.

Thanks for the hint, JAC, but I already checked there a long time ago... no SX249, I'm afraid. Doesn't seem to be too common...
