I've been browsing around the web for information on the plastic package Cyrix FasMath CX-82S87-PP-SV without much luck. Lots of reference for the ceramic CX-82S87-NP-SV, but not even a photo of the plastic version. Anyone have any information about this chip?
Thanks,
-Gene

I think I alot of them were marked 287XL and 287XL+ vs the 82S87 markings

Cyrix CX-82S87-PP-SV have earlier copyright dates than the 287XL+, so maybe they are more like 287XL.

Thanks, guys!
I think you are right, it is probably the same as the 287XL.
Thinking back to that time frame, I bet the name change was for marketing reasons.

yah guessing the 287XL would be the retail version and the CX-82S87-PP-SV the OEM part number
